The best friend of the woman allegedly murdered by Sydney stabbing accused Mert Ney has called her "the most beautiful person" and "the love of my life".
Michaela Dunn, 24, from Lidcombe was yesterday named as the victim of the alleged horror rampage.
She was allegedly killed by Ney, 20, at an apartment in Clarence Street.
This morning, her friend Ashleigh Elise posted a series of photos of the pair together.
"My world has been taken away from me," she wrote on social media site Instagram.
"My other half, my best friend and the love of my life.
"No words are able to describe the light you were not just to me but everyone.
"You were the most beautiful person inside and out.
"You would brighten up everywhere just by your presence and now the world is truly a darker place.
"I love you Miks so much. Thank you for forever being by my side, and just always for being you.
"I can't believe you're not here.
"This is something I will never be able to recover from and I don't know how to breathe without you."
Mr Ney remains under police guard in hospital after having surgery for cuts to his legs.
He's expected to undergo a mental health assessment, and has yet to be charged over the alleged spree.
After allegedly killing Ms Dunn, a former Notre Dame University student who worked as an escort, he allegedly stabbed another woman sitting outside the CBD Hotel.
He allegedly attempted to attack other people there, before being chased and tackled by heroic passers by.
